ELECTRA was created in 1942 by M. André FONTES. The main activity of ELECTRA was the electrification of rural area networks, electric equipment trade and the construction of mills and crushers for agriculture and livestock.
In 1955, André FONTES, founder of ELECTRA made his first trip to the Ivory Coast. He was motivated and passionate and developed a range of equipment particularly adapted to intensive and often harsh conditions of use.
Today ELECTRA is recognised as the leading agri-tropical equipment provider and contributes to improving the work conditions of the populations in developing countries
Since 4 January 2012, ELECTRA S.A.S has been managed by Jean Loup MONJOU and Eric ANDOUARD.
All the photos presented in this page were taken during the fairs and shows that ELECTRA attended from its creation to this date.
